I received tickets for me and my family to visit LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan to facilitate this post. Regardless, all opinions are always honest and 100% mine. Please see my full disclosure policy for more details.
This Saturday we headed to Auburn Hills to check out the new Ninjago Training Camp at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Michigan.
This new interactive play zone brings to life favorite characters from the unique LEGO® Ninjago collection of heroic ninjas and their elemental dragons. Children of all ages can train to be a Ninjago Ninja here.
We were one of the first people to enter and watched as a local PRO Martial Arts group performed a special “Ninjago Chop” and broke through a LEGO® brick wall to officially reveal the new training camp.
There’s 4 different interactive stations with lots to do. Kids can be just like Kai, Jay, Nya and Zane of the Ninjago team when they test their reaction times, increase coordination and master skills during special missions.
My kids favorite was station number 3, the Buzz Mountain Challenge. Tyson competed as Kai and Shawn competed as Cole. They tested their reaction time and tried not to trigger an explosion.
The Lazar Maze Challenge was really awesome. All 5 of us including me went through the maze. You might want to start with easy. I tried “ninja” level and didn’t fare to well. I guess this mamma really needs to brush up on her ninja skills.
Ever wanted to build a ninja camp? You can do that here as well.
This attraction seems fit for kids ages 4-13. Kids younger or older might enjoy it as well. There’s no age limit to go through the maze.
