We love sausage in our house. These 5 mouthwatering sausage appetizers are sure to please your guests. They’re not just great for Christmas and New Years though. You can use these ideas any time you’re entertaining guests throughout the year.
Bacon Wrapped Cheddar Bratwurst Spirals-
1 Package of Klement’s Cheddar Bratwurst’s
5 Slices of Uncooked Bacon
Skewer sausages end to end. Cut the Cheddar Bratwurst’s into spirals with a knife and wrap with a strip of bacon. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until bacon is thoroughly cooked.
Polish’s On A Stick-
1 Package of Klement’s Smoked Polish Sausage
1 Green Bell Pepper
1 Red Bell Pepper
Cut the Polish Sausage into bite sized pieces. Cut the green bell pepper, red bell pepper and onion into big, chunky pieces. The bigger the better as they’re easier to skewer. Throw the cut up polish sausages and veggies into a skillet and cook on medium heat for about 10 minutes or until peppers are tender. Skewer the sausages and veggies onto the stick.
Cheesy Cocktail Smokie Wraps-
1 Package of Klement’s Cheddar Cocktail Smokies
1 Package of Crescent Rolls
Couple Slices of Cheese
Barbecue Sauce (Optional)
Slice crescent rolls in half the long way. Place smokie link on top of cheese on the wide part of the crescent roll. Roll all together. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until crescent rolls are slightly browned. Optional: glaze crescent roll with barbecue sauce before adding the smokie and cheese.
Cocktail Smokies in Sauce-
1 Package Klement’s Cocktail Smokies
(1) 32 oz jar of Grape Jelly
(2) 12 oz. jars of Chili Sauce
Mix together Grape Jelly, Chili Sauce and Cocktail Smokies. Simmer in a crock pot for an hour or so on high heat.
The cocktail smokies come in Regular, Cheddar, Bratwurst, Polish and Italian. They come fully cooked so they’re super easy to make. You can also make this appetizer on the stove for faster cooking.
Summer Sausage, Cheese & Crackers-

1 Block of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 Block of Pepperjack Cheese
