For the past couple weeks the thermometer has been hovering at below average temperatures for this time of year. While the little ones were in school yesterday I snuck out to our local nature center —Kalamazoo Nature Center. I decided I was going to brave the cold and hike some snowy trails despite the cold.
There’s something magical about being out in the woods this time of year; feeling the snow crunching underneath your sneakers. As much as I love to complain about the cold and threaten to move down south I realize that in Michigan we are truly blessed with the beauty around us that the snow creates.
Here’s some pictures from my journey.
