North America’s Tallest Building
The Willis Tower -formally known as the Sears Tower- stands in the heart of downtown Chicago. This skyscraper is the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere towering in at 1,451 feet and 110 stories tall.
Kylie got a chance to tour the Willis Tower a couple weeks ago on a Chicago trip with some of her classmates. As part of the tour they visited the Skydeck and The Ledge, a glass balcony extending 4.3 feet outside of the 103rd floor. The Ledge is 1,353 feet in the air. The view over The Ledge spans up to four states. Holy smokes!
Here’s some of the pictures from the trip.
Have you ever been? Would you dare? I’d love to hear your thoughts.
