At the Mitten Moms Conference we were given these fuzzy warm sweaters lined with Sherpa from Carhartt. Ty would wear this oversized sweater everywhere declaring to everyone in our household, “this sweater is mine.”
In an effort to gain my own shirt back, I began a search to find him something with similar lining.
Carhartt is one of the brands we genuinely love in this house. If you ask any one of my friends, I sing this companies praises often. I contacted them and asked if they had something with similar lining for boys. They did!
Ty loves this jacket. He proudly sports his jacket now and even smiled for the camera, wanting to show off his pockets. The pockets were pretty important to him; lots of space to store his latest rock collections and his mittens.
Ty is wearing the adorable ear flap hat by Carhartt as well. Guess what? I even got my sweater back. Thank you Carhartt!
What a lovely Christmas gift this would make (or any Carhartt Sherpa lined jackets or sweaters). Below is some more information on the Jackson kids coat if you like what you see.
“Our Jackson kids coat is durable and comfortable. Made of 12 -ounce, 100% cotton duck with an 85% acrylic, 15% polyester sherpa lining in the body, it has a 100% quilted polyester lining in the sleeve. It also has a hood with sherpa lining, front zip welt chest pockets, hidden rib cuffs and a drop tail for added coverage. It is garment washed for softness. Available in sizes 4-7 and S(8/10)- XL (18/20).”
This coat retails for $65.00, but I just browsed Carhartt’s website and found an Outlet price for this exact same coat at $44.40.
